Robert (Bob) Traino is acting chief marketing officer and vice president, strategic services at DMA. In this role, Traino leads a team focused on creating the optimal DMA membership experience across all channels and offerings. He is also responsible for overseeing all marketing activity related to driving demand and engagement for DMA Education, events, and membership.
Throughout his 28-year career as an advertising agency executive, Traino has focused on generating recurring growth for his clients — including AT&T, Sprint, Liberty Mutual, Chase, Pfizer, and many others. As a strategic, results-oriented leader, he is an expert at developing solutions that create intellectual capital and generate enduring commercial value for brands.
His success stems from his broad experience working at leading global agency networks that have included Grey, Saatchi, and BBDO. With a deep understanding of social media and online marketing strategies, Traino also brings broad and deep skill-sets across direct marketing, brand building, experiential marketing, consumer analytics, business process optimization, and team leadership to DMA.
