Experian Marketing Services
Mr. Wagner was appointed Group President of Experian Marketing Services in North America in December of 2015 and is transitioning full time into this role as he relocates back to North America in June of 2016. The Experian Marketing Services segment consists primarily of Consumer Data, Targeting, Digital Audience Activation, Linking and Data Quality assets, as well as e-mail and multi-channel marketing platforms. In this capacity he also serves as global lead for the Experian Marketing Services business strategy.
Mr. Wagner was appointed Group President, Credit Services for Brazil in June 2013, the largest individual country credit bureau operations in the world, and dominant provider of consumer and business credit reference services in Brazil. In June of 2015 he also assumed interim management for the Experian Marketing Services and Experian Consumer Direct businesses in Brazil. Mr. Wagner was appointed in June 2008 to lead the North America Consumer Information Services business (the US Credit Bureau). He led this business through the 2008 banking crisis, the subsequent recession, and the economy´s return to growth through 2013.
Prior to joining Experian, Mr. Wagner was a member of the executive leadership team and General Counsel for ERisk, a risk and capital management software company owned by JP Morgan Partners and now a part of Sunguard. Before that, Mr. Wagner practiced law in New York and London, leading corporate and capital market transactions throughout the US, Europe and the former Soviet Union.
Prior to the practice of law, Mr. Wagner was a broker in the international energy markets managing physical and derivative instrument transactions in refined petroleum products that were hedged on the NY Mercantile Exchange.
