  • A leader in 50 state legislative monitoring, KSE Focus provides ANA members with daily updates on state legislation affecting the data-driven marketing industry.
  • ANA is a member of the Mailers’ Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC) of the US Postal Service, providing ANA members a forum to discuss the impacts and benefits of USPS innovations on the data-driven marketing industry.
Policy Research
  • ANA uses research commissioned by its Data-Driven Marketing Institute to influence policymakers on the value responsible data-driven marketing provides to the economy and the individual consumer. The Data-Driven Marketing Institute’s “Value of Data” study has been an important tool to demonstrate the importance of data-driven marketing to federal and state lawmakers.
  • Issue briefs summarizing ANA’s priority legislative and policy issues are available to ANA members as a benefit of their membership accessible to summarizing the policy priorities.
  • The Advocacy team hosted a webinar entitled, “European Union Data Policy Roundup – What American Marketers Need To Know” on February 12th, 2016 covering the status of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the newly-finalized EU-U.S. Privacy Shield agreement, replacing the invalidated Safe Harbor Framework.
