What Can We Help You With?

What is a DMA Community?

DMA Member Communities allow members from all types of companies, industries and roles to participate in knowledge sharing, best practice development and networking.

Joining a Community

Why Should I Join?

  • Engage in meaningful networking and collaboration with DMA members and thought leaders in the field.
  • Expand your industry knowledge and stay abreast of emerging and evolving trends.
  • Gain industry accreditation with myriad leadership opportunities.
  • Grow your resume by participating in sub-committees on marquis topics.
  • Create value for the industry by identifying best practices and ethical guidelines.

What Are My Options?

Any DMA member may participate in any (or several) DMA Member Community. DMA Communities cover a wide range of topic areas and marketing specialties, including:

  • Analytics
  • Customer Engagement & Loyalty
  • Data
  • Integrated Marketing
  • Mobile & Digital

What Can I Look Forward To?

Community members actively participate in the work of the Community by providing thoughtful insights and fresh perspectives on various topics and initiatives. Participants can make the most of their membership by:

  • Brainstorming new and innovative projects for the Community to undertake;
  • Recommending topics to be covered during webinars and town hall discussions;
  • Voicing ideas on how to overcome challenges that face the Community;
  • Sharing success stories that will benefit the Community;
  • Recruiting talented thought leaders to serve as Community members/speakers;

Community meetings will be held up to six (6) times per year (virtually and/or in person). Communities may meet more often depending on the work of the Community and Community-specific programming.

Getting Involved

How Else Can I Get Involved?

Leadership of a Community is a great way to build your personal brand in the industry, and to help shape and lead the work of the Community in support of the overall programs and events of DMA.

  • A Leadership Council made up of 12 senior level members with topic expertise will provide program direction and guidance.
  • Leaders from DMA member companies that exhibit strong thought leadership within the topic area will oversee the Leadership Council.

Leadership will meet at least four (4) times per year (virtually and/or in person) plus once during DMA’s Annual Event. Leadership Council members and Co-Chairs benefit from unparalleled publicity in the data-driven marketing space, including:

  • A leadership voice in the direction and program focus for the Community.
  • Invitations to planning and networking events with DMA executives and other Member Community leaders.
  • Recognition on the Community website.
  • Opportunities to present use case webinars to the membership, contribute blog posts, and upload a video on DMA360
  • Sponsorships can help you reach connections that will take your business to the next level. Find out more here.
