ECHO Gala & Ceremony to Take Place Tuesday, October 28

New York, NY, October 9, 2014 — The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) today announced the Diamond ECHO finalists for the 2014 International ECHO Awards competition, which will take place during the DMA2014 Annual Conference & Exhibition in San Diego.  The Diamond ECHO finalists are: Colenso BBDO (finalist in two categories), Republik New Zealand, and Saatchi & Saatchi Stockholm.  The ECHO awards will be presented Tuesday, October 28, during the ECHO Gala & Ceremony starting at 6:30 p.m., at the San Diego Convention Center, hosted by comedian Chris Hardwick. The winner is selected by the ECHO Board of Governors from the Gold winning campaigns.

“This most prestigious Diamond ECHO award is considered the best-in-show prize of the International ECHO Award competition. Also, for the first time in recent history of the ECHO competition, ECHO-winning campaigns from this year’s International ECHO Awards will be featured in DMA2014 programming. A Fast Forward session titled “Data-Driven Marketing Genius: Google, Xerox and a Foreign Film Festival” will include brand, agency, and ECHO Board of Governors representatives who will describe a campaign that generated 100% response, an innovative business-to-business personalization marketing campaign, and a Google marketing effort that brought applause from this year’s judges.  The session takes place Monday, October 27, at 11:45 a.m., PT.
