The Diamond ECHO Award Goes to Colenso BBDO/Proximity New Zealand for
‘Feel Tip Top’ Campaign

 90 Awards Presented at ECHO Gala Hosted by Jake Johannsen

 Chicago, IL, October 15, 2013 — The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) presented its 2013 International ECHOTM Awards tonight during a ceremony hosted by renowned comedian Jake Johannsen.  DMA presented a total of 90 ECHO Awards to data-driven marketing campaigns from all over the globe.

This year’s awards were entered, categorized, judged, and presented in fifteen primary business categories.  Eleven went to nonprofit campaigns.

Of the hundreds of campaigns submitted for this year’s ECHO honors, sixteen campaigns were honored with Gold, thirty-one with Silver, and thirty-nine with Bronze.  In addition, four campaigns received special awards, which include the Diamond ECHO Award.

Reflecting the increasingly global nature of data-driven marketing, DMA’s 2013 International ECHO Awards were presented to campaigns from numerous countries, including: Canada, the Czech Republic, India, Spain, Japan, US, Denmark, Sweden, New Zealand, Philippines, the UK, Argentina, Norway, the Netherlands, Singapore, China, Australia, Brazil, Belgium, Germany, and Saudi Arabia.
