New York, NY, October 7, 2014 —The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) today announced two dynamic comedians will be entertaining attendees at DMA2014, The Global Event for Data-Driven Marketers — held October 25-30 in San Diego. Chris Hardwick will host the 2014 International ECHO Awards Ceremony & Gala on Tuesday, October 28, and Vincent James will be master-of-ceremonies for morning sessions and DMA2014 keynotes.

“Each of these comedic artists elevates the Conference experience with his own brand of humor and creativity. We are excited to have both Chris and Vincent with us at DMA2014 in San Diego,” said Paul A. McDonnough, DMA’s vice president, conferences & events and group show director.

ECHO Awards Ceremony & Gala

On Tuesday, October 28, comedian Chris Hardick will share his vivacious comedic style and wit as host of the 2014 International ECHO Awards Ceremony & Gala.  “As we honor the top achievements in data-driven marketing and enjoy a great evening of fine dining — Chris will keep us laughing with his incredible energy and off-the-cuff humor,” said McDonnough.  The reception, gala, and ceremony will take place at San Diego Convention Center starting 6:00 p.m.

Keynotes and Morning Sessions

Every morning, Vincent James will open up proceedings, introduce keynote speakers, and give attendees an insightful and entertaining glimpse of the day’s highlights.  “Vincent will walk us through what to expect in the day ahead, and what to immerse ourselves in at DMA2014,” McDonnough said.  “That’s particularly great for first-time attendees who want to know about the hottest sessions; who to visit in the Exhibit Hall, and how to become a fully integrated, 360-degree marketer.”
