Examining Millennials and Generational Differences in Online Gaming


Despite the on-going discussion about millennials and their potential influence on the online gaming market, there has been a lack of empirical research on the online gaming behavior of the millennial generation.

The results of the Kruskal-Wallis test and pairwise comparisons reveal generational differences in 12 of the 16 behavioral variables and provides a better understanding of the different online gaming behavior of the generations. These insights help casino operators and game manufacturers develop casino games and products that can appeal to different generations in the online gaming market.
