Mike Nazzaro

With a background that includes the world’s largest consumer products manufacturer, leading data and marketing intelligence firms, and his own technology start-ups, Mike Nazzaro is a proven and sought after general manager, adept in running established and early-stage businesses.

Mike is the CEO of Claritas, a leading marketing and data company in the consumer segmentation space. In partnership with the private equity firm Carlyle Group, Mike led the acquisition of Claritas from Nielsen in 2017. Prior to this acquisition, Mike was the CEO of the Indian Hill Group (IHG), a firm that worked in partnership with Carlyle to evaluate acquisitions in the marketing, data and technology areas.

Prior to launching the IHG in 2016, Mike founded and built the highly successful company Nielsen Catalina Solutions (NCS). He served as CEO for seven years while leading it through its rapid growth. Before this, Mike was a business unit president at The Nielsen Company, and earlier in his Nielsen tenure served as president of Nielsen BuzzMetrics. Before joining Nielsen, Mike was CEO of Intelliseek, the marketing intelligence firm that he later sold to Nielsen BuzzMetrics in 2006. Prior to that, he co-founded PlanetFeedback in 1999, an online company that he merged with Intelliseek. Mike began his career at Procter & Gamble Co., where he held several executive and brand management positions. Mike earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School, and earned his undergraduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
