What does the future hold for email marketing?

Email marketing continues to be one of the most important tools marketers have for making personalized connections at scale. But with major technological advances and rapidly changing consumer expectations, it’s never been more difficult for email marketers in the trenches to know how to set their organizations up for success in the future. Customers have seen the types of email campaigns that advanced technology — from AI to machine learning — can enable, and B2C marketers face a daily challenge to meet those demands, or get lost in the sea of the inbox. How can marketers continue to optimize their teams with an eye toward surprising and delighting subscribers with messages that are both useful and effective? And what changes do they need to make today in order to future-proof their email program? We’ll look into the crystal ball and discuss where email is headed.
